In the quiet sunshine for most of the middle part of the day, I let Cesaria Evora sing to me while I lay curled on the leather sofa. The blue door remained open and its color contradicted the red wall directly behind. I waited for warmth to stroll through it, tiptoe over and slip in alongside me, but there was only hope. Eventually the air turned golden and I proved it by pointing my camera at the wide open invitation and the blue against red.
