Lookit all those macs in the window ...

I think we decided to rent an apartment in Berlin while we're there. I'd picked all these hotels, including my favorite, Propeller Island City Lodge, bookmarked from long ago, but I couldn't decide on one. Propeller is too expensive for the length of time we'll be there, as is true for most of the interesting-looking hotels. Other hotels and non-dorm hostels seemed fine but like it might be a haul to stay in one for a long time. So I slept on it. When I woke, renting an apartment seemed like the best thing. We did that in Japan and it was nice having a little place to yourself with couch, kitchen, and laundry. For some reason, they're often cheaper, too. Anyway, I've spent the whole evening looking at apartments. Once you start looking, you only find more. It's endless, and I'm still undecided. But I sent two inquiries. That's a start.

I left work an hour and twenty minutes late because I was trying to finish up some stuff. We're busy—as if that's news. There's more to finish, so I hope to get to work early tomorrow too. TGIF; I have no intention of working late like I did last week.
